"Beautiful Boats, Ready to Build"

Clint Chase Boatbuilder specializes in exceptional rowboat and sailboat designs up to 30’. Every boat in our catalog is available as a precut boat kit as well as bare hulls and complete boats. We are best known as the sole US kit agent and licensed builder for Francois Vivier as well as Michael Storer and other truly excellent designers.

For these boat kits and complete boats, we fabricate lightweight wooden masts and spars using Birdsmouth mast construction. We make specialty spoon blade oars for pleasure rowing. To help kit customers get started we supply epoxy kits, supplies, and timber kits.

Clint teaches at The Wooden Boat School in the summers and displays at the Maine Boat Builders Show, the Wooden Boat Show, and as many other shows as we can.

Shop hours at 49 Fox Street are Mon-Friday 8-4pm. Please come visit us in person or keep up at our blog or sign up for our e-newsletter.
