15' St. Lawrence River "Frye" Skiff
Mold Kits Now Available
The first Frye Skiff was strip-built at the WoodenBoat School in 2012. Weight will finish out around 75 pounds and this hull will be ideal for single rowing. The hull is 15' LOA with 39" beam and 13 1/2" depth amidships. She'd make an ideal cartoppable rowboat for protected to semi-protected waters.

18' and 21' St. Lawrence River Skiffs "Annie" and "Bobby"
Mold Kits for the 20 1/2' Bobby NOW AVAILABLE
We find these skiffs absolutely gorgeous. With the great help of David Cockey, a former naval architect and traditional boat guru, we modeled these skiffs in 3D CAD and generated mold kits for the Bobby and Annie plans obtained from the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY. Annie is 18' x 41" and Bobby is 20' x 42" and both are built strip-composite construction in my Strip Composite Construction course at the Wooden Boat School. Annie weighs in at 105 with some hardwoods as decoration, but an ultralight version can be closer to 90 pounds. We can cut molds for the Bobby and eventually the Annie. Both boats are 42" beam and take 7-7 1/2' oars.
